Pack 16 participates in fun activities all year long! Current Scouts should refer to Cub Trails for a calendar of events and up to date information on Pack and Den Events!

 

image_previewMost Family Camp-Outs are at Woodfield Scout Preservation. All members of the family are invited. Pack provides Breakfast and Dinner on Saturday. Remaining meals and snacks are the responsibility of families. There are 3 Family Camp-Outs a year (October, March, and April/May)! See Parent Handbook for more Info!

Patriot’s Points Camp-out is an every other year Camp-Out for Families (however there are separate sleeping quarters for males and females). Registration From will be available at Welcome Back Pack Meeting in August 2018.

Pack 16 has an Annual Pinewood Derby in January. Winners go on to race at the District Derby in March!

Blue and Gold Ceremony is now the first weekend in March! Light refreshments to follow ceremony.

 

 

 Pack 16 participates in an annual clean up service projects called  the Big Sweep

 

 

SFFScouting for Food! Each year Pack 16 helps Old North State Council Collect thousands of pounds of food for local food banks that feed the poor and hungry in our community!

 

Doughnut Sundays! Every other month, on the first full weekend of the month, Pack 16 takes turns along with Troop 26 to serve Doughnuts after the 7:00pm, 9:30am and 12:30 pm masses at IHM church! All scouts who help receive a special handmade doughnut bead for their lanyard!

 

ScoutSundayThe first Sunday in February is Scout Sunday. All Scouts regardless of denomination are welcome to attend mass at IHM at 11:30. After mass there will be a short award presentation for those scouts who earned their Light of Christ or Parvuli Dei or metal of their denomination/religion.

IHM Church, Pack 16 and Troop 26 also sponsor a Religious Achievement Retreat, December 2, 2017 9 am – 12pm. This event is open to all register Scouts. Please check Cub Trails for additional Information. Click here to download the Religious Achievment Opportunities 2018. Please register by November 1, 2018.

Adopt a School! Throughout the scout year we will be accepting non perishable food donations as part of the Adopt a School Program. The food donations go towards the food pantry at A local Elementary School. Food donations can be brought to any den meeting, or pack meeting. Box will be located near the committee table!
